How these screens work
Developing versus confirmed
Live uses the latest traded price as today’s provisional daily close. RSI 14 and the 50/200-day moving averages update against the completed daily history. These are daily indicators updated intraday, not indicators of a five-minute candle.
A live breakout requires price above the prior 20-session high, RSI ≥ 60, price > SMA 50 > SMA 200 and today’s cumulative volume ≥ 1.5× its prior 20-session average. Breakdowns reverse the price/trend conditions with RSI ≤ 40. Signals can disappear if the price reverses.
New 52-week records
Today’s high or low must strictly cross the prior extreme within the trailing 52 weeks (364 calendar days). Once a record is reached it stays in that session’s list, even if the latest price reverses. Equal highs/lows are not new records. No RSI or volume threshold is required.
Recent IPOs and incomplete history are excluded. A dash means a metric cannot be calculated. Stocks with a mismatch between saved history and the feed’s previous close are withheld until their baseline can be verified.
Session updates
The server receives Dhan quotes through a shared live connection. This page refreshes intraday results every 15 seconds. Each stock shows its last trade time; an illiquid stock may not have traded recently. Interrupted feeds are marked as saved intraday readings.
Daily scans remain at 6:15 pm and 8:15 pm IST on weekdays. The first full daily scan must finish before live screening can start. Weekends and holidays retain the latest completed daily session.
A shortlist for your research
Coverage follows the NSE share universe in the Dhan history scan, including SME shares. Bonds, funds and derivatives are excluded. Provider data gaps and corporate actions can affect historical comparisons.
The full-day volume threshold also applies intraday, so early-session breakout matches may be few. These screening conditions are not a forecast or a buy/sell recommendation.
